Kelly Hinchman, leed ap
FOUNDER AND DESIGN PRINCIPAL
Kelly launched Studio H Design Group in 2013. Led by experience and inherent style, she is known for her highly curated, innovative interiors; bespoke furnishings and architectural details; and distinctive, hands-on approach. She prides herself on tailoring each project to the client—from concept development and space planning to custom furniture design and art selection.
Her diverse portfolio spans residential and commercial, with an emphasis on multifamily and hospitality. Recent projects include a JPI community in the emerging Platinum Triangle district of Anaheim; a redesign of the Aloft condos in Cortez Hill; interiors for the luxury apartment community at 1810 State Street in Little Italy; a 15,000 square foot office space in downtown San Diego for the local tech company, the Control Group; and the corporate headquarters of executive recruiting firm Bespoke Partners.
Kelly collaborates with brands that have a strong company culture to produce a customized and stylish end product. She also develops rollouts and prototypes for companies with multiple locations, including Yoga Six, the Golden Paw, and Laser Away, which has more than 40 skincare salons nationwide.
Her work has been published in Architectural Digest, Domino, Metropolitan Home, Interiors + Sources, C Home, Luxe Interiors + Design, San Diego Magazine, and San Diego Home/Garden. She received a BFA from the Design Institute of San Diego, and is a LEED-accredited professional.
Kelly is whip-smart when it comes to the business of design, and currently creating an accessory and lighting line, debuting in late 2018.
She lives in San Diego with her Pomeranian, Liz Taylor.
