OUTSIDE THE STUDIO: Kelly is traveling and getting inspired, discovering new places, and refreshing her eyes. Whether she is visiting her sister & nephews in Ireland, or favorite city- New York, she always brings a fresh perspective back to the studio.    

PARTY TRICK: Crushing a can with her shoulder blades.  

PROUDEST MOMENT: When Studio H Design Group turned 1 year old.  


Kelly Hinchman, leed ap

Exquisitely curated, bespoke, and of the moment, these are the key elements of Kelly's design philosophy. Originally from San Diego, Kelly received her BFA from the CIDA Accredited Design Institute of San Diego.  After graduation, she worked among many talented design professionals, and in 2013 she founded Studio H Design Group. Kelly’s innovative design style and broad construction experience has led her to work on a variety of projects including residential new construction and remodels, multi-family projects, restaurants, retail spaces, corporate design, and healthcare design.

Kelly is curious.  Her curiosity and constant need to be challenged has lead her to be an expert in space planning, architectural detailing, millwork design, and custom furnishings. Kelly is a LEED Accredited Professional, an Allied member of ASID, and a member of the U.S. Green Building Council.

Kelly’s work has been featured in top design publications including Luxe Interiors + Design, C Home, Interiors and Sources, San Diego Home and Garden, and San Diego Magazine. Kelly was selected by HGTV to be a contributing professional on, and she has been awarded "Best of Houzz Award" for the last two consecutive years. When working with clients, it’s important to her that everyone feels a part of the process, and that all expectations are not only met but exceeded. Her hands on approach, knowledge of construction, and eye for style make her a triple threat. To her, Studio H Design Group isn’t just a job, it’s a way of life.

AUTOBIOGRAPHY TITLE: Hiking with Heels: One Woman's Trek Through Multiple Identities

OUTSIDE THE STUDIO:   You can find Megan hiking with her pup, Johnny, and sidekick, Zach, eating delicious food with appropriately paired libations and dancing in her living room to groovy tunes! 

PARTY TRICK: Doing cartwheels and handstands.  She can also quote the Big Lebowski verbatim (both of which don't always turn out so well).   

PROUDEST MOMENT: Beating her beau Zach's entire family in Scrabble the first weekend she met them (they are big Scrabble people, it's likely the first and last time that will ever happen!). 

Megan Read

Exploratory, creative, and courageous are a few words to describe Megan.  Having vision is one thing, but execution is everything, and she executes every last detail.  

Originally from Virginia,  Megan began her career out west in Denver, CO and holds a BFA in Interior Design from the CIDA Accredited Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design. Her interior architecture design experience has been implemented in a variety of projects from single & multi-family housing to mixed use.  Megan also leads Studio H Design Group's Internship Program.    

Megan works daily balancing her right and left brain in the creative and technical fields. From concept development to construction management, Megan delivers her expert and professional knowledge. She is a holistic designer that can incorporate all facets of architecture when developing and refining Studio H Design Group's interiors.





Jolene Neve


SPIRIT COLOR:  Black cherry.  It’s bold but subdued, just like her.  

Feed Me: Cheeseburgers, Cake, and your Soul

OUTSIDE THE STUDIO: You’ll find jolene in her kitchen making her famous chocolate chip cookies while shaking to the tunes of John Lee Hooker.

PARTY TRICK: She can do “the worm”.

PROUDEST MOMENTt: When her son Isaiah brought in the empty trash cans, without having to be asked. 


Jolene Neve

Jolene, a native San Diegan,  has 20 years of management experience in multiple creative fields. She brings a fresh perspective and process to Studio H Design Group.

Jolene is an integral part of the team and her personality shines through her ability to multi-task in communication with clients, vendors and the Studio H team. Jolene is responsible for keeping the studio on task and on budget, procurement, coordinating installations, and studio management. 

Jolene is a natural problem solver, efficient, and positive. Those traits are the perfect recipe to successfully lead the studio's installations across the country.
